I am involved in developing and providing information products and services. Much of the material I offer arises from two careers I have pursued. First I was a writer (I was on the original writing staff of "The Monkees" TV show). Then, ten years ago I also got involved in the field of conflict resolution. I am currently active in both fields. "The Famous Hooper Brothers" is a book which has no other purpose than to be funny. If the style seems reminiscent of "Rocky and Bullwinkle," it's not an accident. Early in my career I was a staff writer for "Rocky and Bullwinkle" producer Jay Ward. The experience inspired me. So this is my own wacky, off-beat, comedy project.
It stars two crime-fighting brothers, Harry and Sam. They always appear in a horse costume and constantly argue about who gets to be in front. (It's never Harry.) As a cloak to their true identity, they pretend to be in real estate. They work for a brilliant , but grumpy, mouse named M. In this first episode they are in hot pursuit of the evil genius Dr. Brazil, who can only think when he plays "Nola" on the marimba. More...

This is the story of two journeys I found myself involved in. One journey involved a new, changed relationship with God. The other journey involved a stray cat that appeared in the backyard. It was a great surprise to me to discover that these two seemingly unconnected journeys were actually related, and had a lot to do with each other.
