The Famous Hooper Brothers by David Evans
The Famous Hooper Brothers is a graphic novel in the style and spirit of Rocky and Bullwinkle. It is not a religious-oriented book like some of my others. After writing comedy for several years, I just wanted to write the funniest book I could think of. This is that book. It has just won the Best Graphic Novel Award in the USA Best Books 2007 Awards.
The book stars the crime-fighting exploits of two brothers, Harry and Sam. But instead of donning traditional superheroes' tights, they always appear in a horse costume. And they constantly argue about who gets to be in front.
Harry and Sam work for an extremely brilliant, but grumpy, mouse named M. In their current case, they are hot on the trail of the legendary evil genius, Dr. Brazil. Whenever Dr. Brazil wants to think, he has to play "Nola" on the marimba... The book is 101 pages, in large format, 11" x 14".
